Greetings! This is to congratulate for success of media in solving many drastic social, political and economic problem in india. Since 1947 and even before media has shown her power time to time in every field . Why am talking about all these fact just remembering the power that been given to media is just because of media is the only way remain in country like india where people could trust to say while going through the root of nonviolence.
To day I want to bring again the social problem in front of you and the problem is about education system the authorized body UGC has approved many universities to run different courses, government has also made different authorities approve different aspect needed to run education system in india. Even universities also working may be in the same norms as they have been approved for, but something is going wrong in this whole channel of education system , with wrong I mean to say some criminal offence. I am not blaming Government , any Universities or any authorized body and I am no body to blame them but I am still saying some serious thing is going on and this will not only hamper the growth of nation building but put in danger the individual and nation future.
Come to the point my interest of talking all about is the distance education. Since we all know that today each and every city you will found distance learning center set up like mushroom in rainy season but have you think about are they eligible to run these courses? My answer is no. Reason for saying no is first of all the area that has been crafted by authorities is not fulfilling by these learning centers. Secondly, the fees charged from them is higher than the what is mentioned in universities prospectus. third student are not getting right information about there courses finaly but not last they have been charged illegally for different purpose according to me which not legal for instance a) if you want to cheat in exam you have to pay this amount. b) if you want good number in practical exam you’ll need to pay this amount. C) The most dangerous problem I talked about is with concerned of director cashier ask student for unwanted late fine that is if student is care less not remember when did he has submitted his last fee utilizing his carelessness as their benefits and worst moment is when some time charge unwanted fees like complete semester fee.
I am not targeting each and every institution or study center of India. Some are working with the norm but there are few who disguising the whole system of distance education to public as well as authorities too. For this reference I like to put example of eastern U.P in the district of sonebhadra, there is a place we well known with name of renukoot. Here all the distance learning center are indulge in fraudulent activity. these institutions has affilation of Punjab Tachnical University, Karnataka State Open University and EIILM University Sikkim and many more as they said. But what is truth I don’t know because they have taken admission of near about 300s of student in various courses of KSOU(Karnataka State Open University) and other universities they have as per their information . but student are still awaiting for their first semester exam even then there is no guarantee that a single student able to pass instead taking money to provide cheat in examination hall as there examination is conducted in self center and when student complain against it they have been excused that student were not pay certain fee that is why there result is so.
Moreover, these student are scolded and coerced for taking any action against them and unwanted pressurized to keep continue in there LC pay fees to them only, if any student wish to change his/her LC as in the norms of university due to unsatisfaction of service / transfer of place, they do not allow student by creating unnecessary hurdle before them.And many type inconvenience are facing by these student in today s era. according to me this is totally injustice and now you all need to raise your voice against this curruption and crime happening with individuals future.come be unit to teach a lesson to this type of institution.
